Towards a Micro-Enterprise–Focused Digital Maturity Framework

Digitalisation has been identified as one of the major trends changing society and business. However, companies are not making most all opportunities that digitalisation to offer. In digital transformation process, it is important start with assessing current state. Digital maturity assessment can be used analyse level readiness performance an organisation. Micro-enterprises smallest group enterprises numerically dominant enterprise type in economies. They differ from larger terms organisational characteristics, such their unique attitude towards tools application deployment. Furthermore, micro-enterprises lagging behind exploring possibilities come digitalisation. This article describes design usage possibilities, initial experiences a model, especially viewpoint micro-enterprises. As result, this presents micro-enterprise-focused self-evaluation framework providing holistic status.
